We Adapt is proud to partner with The Black List, whose commitment to elevating bold new voices in storytelling aligns deeply with the spirit of this event. Together, we are curating a guest list of creators, producers, and cultural leaders who understand the power of adaptation — not only from page to screen, but from story to lived experience. This collaboration ensures that We Adapt is more than a night of art; it’s a gathering of those shaping the future of narrative itself.

- Why Tribeca?
Tribeca is where art, film, and culture collide in New York. Hosting We Adapt in this neighborhood situates the event at the crossroads of creativity and industry, intimate enough to feel personal, but iconic enough to resonate far beyond the room.
- Changing the narrative around adaptation
Adaptation is often seen as translation, book to screen, page to stage. We Adapt reframes it as transformation. Here, adaptation is not replication but rebirth, proving that a story can expand in meaning when filtered through multiple creative voices.
- A gathering of like minded people
The event is as much about community as it is about art. Curated in partnership with The Black List, the guest list brings together creators, producers, and cultural catalysts who share a belief in the power of story to shape our future.
- An activation of "our" energy
We Adapt is a ritual of collective presence. Each performance, each work, and each guest adds to a shared current of energy. The night is designed to amplify that current, to remind us of what’s possible when we gather with intention.
- An archiving of our collective creativity
This event is not just fleeting performance, it is a living archive. Through film, photography, and memory, We Adapt preserves how artists and community came together in this moment, leaving behind a record of collective imagination and creation.
Stories are how we survive and connect. This event is to remind us that adaptation is both a creative act and a vital reminder of our ability to change, reimagine, and endure together.
